Privacy Policy
As the software manufacturer of Athentra and the Athentra Power Platform Connector, and in connection with all services we provide to you as our customer, we, Pack of 7 Pty Ltd (Australia), are committed to providing quality services to you.
This policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The APPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.
A copy of the Australian Privacy Principles may be obtained from the website of the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?
Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include: names, addresses, email addresses, phone and facsimile numbers.
This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including correspondence by telephone, by email, via our website, from other publicly available sources, from cookies and from third parties. We don’t guarantee the website links or policies of authorised third parties.
We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.
When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.
Sensitive Information
Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.
Sensitive information will be used by us only:
For the primary purpose for which it was obtained
For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose
With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.
Third Parties
Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Your Personal Information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including the following:
Third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure; and
Where required or authorised by law.
Security of Personal Information
Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.
Access to your Personal Information
You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.
Pack of 7 Pty Ltd will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.
In order to protect your Personal Information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information
It is important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up to date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
Ask Athentra — our website assistant
Our website offers an AI assistant, “Ask Athentra”, which answers questions about Athentra using the published content of this website. Using it is entirely optional.
When you submit a question, we send the text of that question — together with up to the last three question-and-answer exchanges from the same session — to Anthropic PBC in the United States, which operates the AI model that produces the answer. This is a disclosure of information to an overseas recipient for the purposes of Australian Privacy Principle 8. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, which apply to our use of its API, Anthropic does not use questions or answers to train its models. Anthropic may retain them for a limited period for security and abuse-detection purposes.
We disclose nothing else to Anthropic. The assistant has no access to your Athentra tenant, your Microsoft 365 environment, your account, or any customer data. It reads only the published content of this website, which is available to anyone.
The assistant does not need Personal Information in order to answer a question about Athentra, and we ask that you do not enter names, contact details, tenant names, domain names, or any confidential information into it. If you would like to discuss your own environment, please contact us directly.
We record the question asked, the answer given, which pages of this website the answer referred to, the page you asked from, and technical measurements such as response time. Before any of this is stored, we automatically remove from both the question and the answer: email addresses, retaining only the domain; Australian telephone numbers; globally unique identifiers; and Microsoft 365 tenant names. We use these records for one purpose: to understand which questions our website fails to answer, so that we can improve it. We retain them for no longer than 12 months.
Answers are generated by an AI model and may be incomplete or wrong. Nothing the assistant says forms part of any agreement between us, and it is not a substitute for advice about your own environment. Where an answer matters to a decision, please check it against the pages it links to, or ask us directly.
Forms on this website
Our contact, trial, support and Athentra Services forms collect the information you type into them — typically your name, your organisation, your email address and your message.
Submissions are stored in a database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. on our behalf. That database currently runs in Cloudflare’s Oceania region, in Australia. We have not applied a contractual jurisdiction restriction, so we cannot guarantee it will remain there indefinitely, and we will update this policy if that changes.
We are then notified by email, sent through Microsoft 365 from our own tenant to our own staff. Your submission is not sent to any marketing platform, advertising network, or other third party.
We keep form submissions for 24 months, after which they are deleted, unless they have become part of an ongoing business relationship with you — in which case they are handled under the rest of this policy like any other customer correspondence. This is enforced, not merely stated: a job runs daily and removes submissions past that age.
When we reply, we reply to the address you gave us. You can ask us at any time to delete your submission.
Bot protection and hosting
To stop automated abuse of our forms and our assistant, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It assesses whether a request is coming from a real browser rather than a script. It does not ask you to identify yourself, and in most cases you will not see anything at all.
This website is served by Cloudflare, Inc. As with any website, your browser’s request — including your IP address — is necessarily visible to whoever serves the page. We do not store your IP address. Where we need to limit misuse, we hold a one-way cryptographic hash of it, salted with a value that changes every day, and that hash is deleted within 24 hours. It cannot be used to recover your IP address or to recognise you on a later day.
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and is not connected to any third-party analytics service.
